some people are hungry. what do i really have to complain about?
in my life of luxury i get distracted and worry about this or that.
i forget that there are people in my community that have not got the resources to put together a fair living.
i am sure they are grateful for the apples falling off the trees at this time of year.
in fact i think they probably dont mind the ones with bruises, and spots that i pass over because it is too much effort to pick up only to have to pick through the fruit.
as i sit and reflect on this i am so grateful for what i do have.
as i look around my house at all of my accumulated worldly possessions, i am astounded at what i have been able to put together for myself.
even when i couldn't afford groceries this summer because i was unemployed, i had family members and community stepping in and helping me with bulk goods, and cat food.
my way of living is really quite exceptional.
as thanksgiving season comes closer, and i see the bounty of the harvest that starts to come in at the end of summer, i pray for humility.
i pray for hungry bellies to be filled, and i am asking the spirits and gods for the clarity i need to remember those less fortunate this season.
i pray to know where my generosity counts the most.
if anyone needs anything let me know.
i love you all very much.
